In my personal opinion I don’t think there is any point in taking part in online questionnaires or survey’s too see whether you have ADD/ADHD, you need to research the symptoms and what to look for to get a better understanding of yourself or your child.

A doctor’s diagnosis after reading this material and coming to your own conclusion would be a great start.

Other problems and symptoms that can combine themselves with ADD/ADHD are listed below and your doctor will often check for all of these other disorders.

  • Learning problems or language problems.

  • Mood disorders (depression)

  • Anxiety disorders

  • Toruettes

  • Sleeping patterns and disorders

Doctors use a variety of techniques to establish the “root” of the disorder. These will include questionnaires and other tasks, this allows them to get a better understanding of the individuals needs as more often than not, just seeing the patient for an hour or so will not give them enough time or the correct answers to give a suitable diagnosis.
